22 weeks

How Far Along: 22 Weeks (I was 23 weeks on Thursday, so this is my 22 week update.)

Size of Baby:
My app tells me he is about a pound and a half and the size of a papaya. The baby bump is growing by the minute!

Maternity Clothes:
Same. A lot of dresses these days because jeans are just too hot!

Yes! Still feeling him move a lot. Still my favorite thing in the world! I saw my tummy "jump" for the first time on Tuesday and began seeing him move from the outside more and more each day after. Goodness it is so amazing watching him move. Russ has seen/felt him move a lot this week too. Also, Mom has been dying to feel him move and she finally felt him this week! Everett must have known it was her 50th birthday and that she really wanted to feel her little grandson ;)

Sleep: About the same except it is officially getting hard to roll over and get comfortable. I have had to start sleeping with more pillows, and now I really want one of those silly preggo pillows. I hear the Snoogle pillow is ah-mazing. Might have to invest in one of those soon...

What I Miss: I started missing Diet Coke again. I thought I might not ever want to go back to it once the baby is born but I’m pretty sure that won’t be the case.

What I’m looking forward to: Finishing up the nursery closet makeover. We are in the process of re-doing the closet in the nursery and it is turning out to be quite the project! I am very thankful for a handy husband (and Uncle Jason!) for working so hard on it.

Cravings: I’ve still been craving chocolate a lot. Chocolate chip cookies from Chicfila were my craving of the week. I won't tell you how many I ate...

Symptoms: I've developed a few new symptoms as my tummy is really starting to grow. I've had a few episodes with really bad heartburn/indigestion and my back started hurting this week too. Other than that, just some SERIOUS pregnancy brain. Yall, it is getting so bad. I have the best memory ever and this week I called Mom to tell her something and 20 minutes later called back to tell her the same thing. She is starting to worry about me, ha! I have started making lists for everything in my life so I won't forget.

Best Moment of the Week:
Seeing my tummy move for the first time! Also, this week was THE week! I got asked for the first time if I was pregnant while in line at CVS. The cutest, tiniest, little lady asked me when I was due and proceeded to hug me, kiss me on the cheek, and tell me "God bless you." It was so sweet. Can't believe how excited I got for someone to finally ask me if I was pregnant, ha!

Random Facts: I went to Chapin for a few days this week for some photography sessions and to visit my sweet friend Sue in the hospital. Our rocking chair came in this week so I picked it up while I was in town and brought it back to Charleston. Once Russ unloaded it and put it in the nursery we started fighting over who could sit in it. It is the MOST comfortable chair ever. It is a rocker and recliner and I am not kidding when I say it is heavenly to sit in. It matches the nursery perfectly and we are so excited about it! I will post pictures of the nursery in the next few weeks for y'all to see! A few other fun facts about our little man... Over the last week or so he has developed taste buds and can now taste things. He has been able to hear for a while, but this week completed the forming of his inner ears. His sense of sight is becoming more and more developed too and they say that he can now perceive light and dark much better. He now has little eyebrows and eyelashes, too. All of this continues to blow my mind!

Here is another pictures of my growing belly this week.
I tried to pretend I was a preggo princess like Kate Middleton in my polka dot dress...

Also, we launched a new print today over at Sacred Made
so I figured I would share it here too. These lyrics will never get old.
